May 3rd - Urbana Fire Hall Flea Market: Do you love looking for treasures at area yard sales? We will have two tables at this Saturday's Giant Flea Market at the Urbana Fire Hall, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit our programs and services. Thank you!
May 3rd- MayFest: Join the fun in Downtown Frederick! As always, our table will be located in front of the Antiques Emporium on East Patrick Street. Stop by and pick up a Walk-N-Wag 2008 brochure and kids of all ages can decorate a bookcover or bandana! Our volunteers will be there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and look forward to seeing you there!
May 10th- Bark in the Park: Bark in the Park, Utica Park, 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. Lots of fun games and activities presented by the Frederick County Parks and Recreation Dept.
May 10th- Meadows Frozen Custard: Come out to our fundraiser at Meadows Frozen Custard, located in the Whittier Lakefront Center. A portion of the sales between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. will be donated to FCHS. Enjoy delicious treats, including Scooby Snacks for your dog!

May 18th - Frederick County Animal Control Open House, Rosemont Avenue: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join FCAC, FCHS and other animal welfare groups for a fun filled day! Activities include: shelter tours, K-9 demonstrations, a petting zoo, kids games, the HSUS emergency disaster RV and so much more. For information or questions, please call 301-600-1546.
May 31st- Walk-n-Wag: Baker Park, Downtown Frederick:Our major fundraiser of the year brings more than 300 dogs and their people together for an amazing day of fun, games and activities. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a demo by Flighthoundz. Gather pledges for your chance to win great prizes! All money raised supports FCHS programs and services.
